About

From a stockbroker’s desk to code.

My interest in markets started with job-shadowing a stockbroker at Afrifocus Securities, learning how client orders, asset classes and the buy and sell sides of the market work. I began a BCom in Economic Sciences at Stellenbosch University, did not complete it, and continued my studies in finance at the University of Johannesburg, where I have written equity research on Palantir and NVIDIA for UJ Invest and now lead the Global Markets Investment Team's portfolio.
